We believe that quality food is essential for students to achieve their full academic potential, attain full physical and mental development, and improve lifelong health and well-being. We call this "True Food." CWS employs a dedicated menu team to develop meals that meet the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) requirements. Charter schools in Minneapolis are welcome to purchase vended meals from MPS CWS that meet these requirements. You do not have to be an MDE approved NSLP sponsor, but our meals DO meet the NSLP requirements. Our meals are free of high fructose corn syrup, trans fats, artificial colors and preservatives. We source from local, sustainable farms when able through our Farm to School Program. Each month, we feature a locally-sourced lunch on the first Thursday of the month for Minnesota Thursdays! If you are interested in serving MPS vended meals at your location, please fill out this inquiry form.	Ordering Orders must be placed five (5) business days in advance. Once orders are placed, any order changes must be made a minimum of 48 hours in advance of planned delivery. Order changes should be made by emailing Hashep. Please use the provided monthly menus to determine menu options when placing orders. Requests for Special Dietary Accommodations must have an accompanying Special Diet Medical Statement.
