We hear a lot about hunger in America even though we are one of the wealthiest nations in the world.
We are urged to donate to our local food shelves, to contribute nonperishable items at charitable events and to support local sustainable gardens. We hear the statistics about how many people depend on food shelves and how many kids come to school hungry.
