Minneapolis and St. Paul public schools are eating local on the first Thursday of every month starting Sept. 4 -- and fans of the program say they're serving up some big lessons in the process.
"Minnesota Thursdays" were launched to highlight local farmers, ranchers and companies the state is known for, and students will eat seasonal, Minnesota-grown ingredients.
