Safe Routes to School Friends,
Are you ready for 30 Day of Biking? 30 Days of Biking is a pledge to ride your bike every day in April, any distance, any destination, and share your adventures online #30daysofbiking. Make the pledge! And now is the time to dust off your bicycle. If it needs a little love—check out the free open shops and other maintenance resources later in this email.
Now is also the time to register for Bike and Walk to School day—May 4. Anyone (staff, parent, student) can register for their school community and if you do, cool stuff will arrive at your school to support your event (see below). Also NEW THIS YEAR save the date and watch for details about a group bicycle ride starting from the Davis Service Center and ending at the Nutrition Center garden in the afternoon of May 4—tentatively scheduled for 3-4:30. You will not want to miss this event. Contact Jennifer.email@example.com if you want to help.
So much great stuff below. Grants, a bike rack poster contest, free training. It is all the real deal! As always, let MPS SRTS know what is happening in your school community and how MPS SRTS can support your walk/bike dreams.
